拾萬杭州｜展览现场｜刘川：偷 偷
拾萬空间（杭州）于2024年6月1日呈现刘川个展“偷 偷”，带来艺术家十余件绘画和雕塑作品。
刘川漫画式的叙事背后隐藏着对时间、情感和普遍生活的提炼。小偷、盗贼和警察，暗示本有之物突然佚失的瞬间。悄然而逝的东西被谁盗走，转瞬即逝的时刻又为谁所掠？画面中松动的线条、自由的色块，和现实的形象、硬核的商业化标志交融并举，艺术家对个体身份的思考、社会处境的反思和晚年生活的想象都偷偷地潜藏在这种具象与抽象二元融合的谜面之中。作品中的文字成为解密的线索，在松弛形象的并置或远景近景的交叠间，与观看主体的经验连接，触发起佚失时刻的饱满形态。
Hunsand Space (Hangzhou) will present Liu Chuan's solo exhibition "Steal Steal" on June 1, 2024, featuring over ten of the artist's paintings and sculptures.
Behind Liu Chuan's comic-style narrative lies a distillation of time, emotion, and everyday life. Thieves, robbers, and police suggest moments of sudden loss. What quietly disappears, and who steals these fleeting moments? The loose lines and free color blocks in the images blend with realistic forms and hardcore commercial logos. The artist's contemplation of individual identity, reflection on social conditions, and imagination of old age are stealthily hidden within this fusion of figurative and abstract elements. The text within the works serves as clues for decoding, connecting with the viewer's experience through the juxtaposition of relaxed images or the overlap of foreground and background, triggering a full form of the fleeting moments.

刘川， 1991年生于吉林， 2013年本科毕业于鲁迅美术学院国画系， 2018年硕士毕业于中央美术学院版画系， 现生活工作于河北燕郊。
Liu Chuan, born in 1991 in Jilin, graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Traditional Chinese Painting Department of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 2013, and obtained a master's degree from the Printmaking Department of China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2018. He currently lives and works in Yanjiao, Hebei.

拾萬空间，于2014年成立于北京草场地艺术区，2018年迁址到北京798艺术区。2021年底开设石家庄分馆拾萬当代艺术中心，并于2023年底迁至石家庄市井陉县北障城村。2023年初在杭州市西湖区转塘街道的孵鸡湾建立分部。拾萬北京总部位于798包豪斯建筑集群中的一处二楼下陷式空间，石家庄分部深入到太行山古村落中的一座老教堂，而杭州空间则改造自龙坞茶山旁的一间农舍。拾萬空间对常规化的展览保持警惕，希望从当代艺术的语境出发，通过持续的展览和项目，来回应我们共同的生存境遇，激发出当下文化中被忽视的部分。
Hunsand Space was established in 2014 in the Caochangdi Art Zone of Beijing. In 2018, it relocated to the 798 Art District in Beijing. At the end of 2021, Hunsand Space opened a branch, Hunsand Center for Contemporary Art, in Shijiazhuang, and by the end of 2023, it had moved to Beizhangcheng Village in Jingxing, Shijiazhuang. In early 2023, a new branch was established in Fujiwan, Zhuantang, Xihu, Hangzhou. The Beijing headquarters of Hunsand Space is located within a sunken two-story building in the Bauhaus architectural complex within the 798 Art District. The Shijiazhuang branch delves deep into an old church within a historic village in the Taihang Mountains, while the Hangzhou space has been transformed from a farmhouse near the Longwu Tea Plantation. Hunsand Space remains vigilant against the standardization of exhibitions and aims to respond to our shared existential experiences, sparking the often overlooked aspects of contemporary culture through ongoing exhibitions and projects.
