高速摄像视频 | 口罩是如何减缓新冠肺炎传播的?
6月11日,美国国家标准技术研究所(National Institute of Standards and Technology, NIST)发布了一个视频,通过高速摄像技术拍摄了口罩(包括面巾)是如何减缓COVID-19疾病传播的。随后,美国国家卫生研究院(NIH)也在官方推特转发,宣传“科学戴口罩,减缓新冠传播,人人有责”(Cover smart. Do your part. Slow the spread)。

The virus causing COVID-19 spreads mainly person to person through droplets emitted by infected people when they talk, cough, or sneeze.

A loose-fitting face covering or one worn below the nose is much less effective than one that fits snugly.

A well –fitting, breathable face covering made with a few layers of tightly woven fabric protects best.
