FAW Bestune ships 117 NAT electric vehicles to Mexico

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese major auto group FAW Group announced that a ship carrying 117 units of the Bestune NAT electric vehicles (EVs) set sail to Mexico from Lianyungang city, Jiangsu Province.

The shipment marked the first-ever batch of Bestune NAT EVs to enter the Latin American market. According to FAW Group, the 117 NAT EVs would make up the largest pure-electric ride-hailing fleet in the Latin America region. 

The NAT is a five-seater battery-electric MPV model specially made for the ridesharing industry, measuring 4,450mm long with a 2,850mm wheelbase, which allows a rear-row legroom of 1,007mm. With a maximum power of 100kW and a peak torque of 260N·m, the NAT offers an NEDC-rated range of 419km. The model comes standard with the quick charge feature and its battery can be charged from 10% to 80% of capacity  in just 30 minutes. 

As one of the wholly-owned brands under FAW Group, Bestune has been actively facilitating the successful of the NAT EV to the Latin American market since 2022. Currently, Bestune has completed sample car test, small-scale export, and product certification in such major countries in the Latin America region as Mexico, Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Costa Rica.
