褪去冬日寒意，清朗的春天气息终于缓缓拂面。伴随着空气中日益弥漫的明媚生机，一年一度的国际妇女节也如期而至。CINEMQ携手青年性/别影像组织变焦Focus，带来「HERSPACE 变焦放映」，一场关注中国本土新生酷儿影人、女性影人的特别放映活动。The winds of winter are finally fading, as spring reaches through forgotten blue skies, and a crisp, bright new energy fills the air. CINEMQ is back with fresh perspectives for our annual celebration of International Women’s Day. This year, we’ve teamed up with Focus to present HERSPACE, a special screening of queer and female-focused short films by emerging Chinese filmmakers.
自去年6月起，CINEMQ作为评审与影人导师，协作参与了由变焦Focus组织举办的第一届性/别影像创作扶持计划。该扶持计划旨在协助关注性/别议题的国内年轻影人，特别是在校学生，完成原创影像作品。扶持计划从数十名报名参与的影像项目中评选出最具潜力的几部作品，为其后期制作与完片提供支持与专业指导。Focus is a film collective and mentorship program which supports young domestic filmmakers - especially students - whose work explores issues of gender and sexuality, by providing funding and professional guidance. Since June last year, CINEMQ has been working with Focus to select projects and mentor filmmakers.
五部女性视角的短片作品在扶持计划中脱颖而出，如今喜获收官。CINEMQ也有幸邀请到变焦Focus组织者及这几部影片的主创人员，在春日到来之际，与我们一同分享精彩的创作，庆祝女性影像的新视角。On March 6th, we’re proud to present five Focus shorts, each with their own distinctive female perspective. We’ll be joined at the screening by the filmmakers, and the team behind Focus, to share their experiences and thoughts on this project.

变焦 Focus 成立于 2020 年，是由几个影视专业学生发起的关注性/别议题和相关主题影像创作的学术、兴趣、放映小组。每学期会举办相关读书会、辩论会、线下放映会 和学生影像创作扶植计划，赋能高校内部学生的影像创作。我们致力于建立影像互助网络来帮助性/别议题在影像环境中的非污名现身。
Established in 2020, Focus is a cinema collective founded by a group of film students in Beijing. Focusing on all topics related to gender/sexuality, we hold regular roundtables, movie-screenings, workshops, reading seminars and academic lectures. We also provide advocacy services through online communities. We are committed to connecting LGBTQ+ and gender minority community members in China by building a filmmaking support network.
