在一年的不断摸索后，HTTP从一个姗姗学步的宝宝也成为了一个能为自己喜爱的艺人见缝插针地与各地主办抢档期的派对厂牌。

虽然ta在最近一次的争夺中，直接折了中指和食指上好不容易做好的光疗美甲：

但我们相信，能够将炙手可热的Hyph11e与Sulk从ta们忙碌的演出日程中邀请到电梯的舞台与我们一同庆生，一切都是值得的。

After a fierce fight with all the other promoters in the country which may or may not resulted HTTP to lose their two nail extensions, (you may also say the extensions are gone for other purposes,) we were able to snatch SULK for the 1st time and Hyph11e again, from their busy calendar and have them join the HTTP anniversary roster to celebrate one year of being on this dancefloor with you all. 

Please also catch Mengki before she starts her new adventure in Germany where she will continue to perfect her already astonishing artistic canon. She has been such an integral part of HTTP’s identity through her relentless support and connecting people and communities. This might be the last time for a while you will see her managing the VJ desktop IRL, so be sure to give her a very warm hug when you see her. 

On the advent of our first anniversary, thinking of the past year and what is to come, everything come back to those who have been a part of it.

This last year have led us to some amazing communities, and incredible cities. Recently, we have launched our DJ workshop series, hoping to discover more emerging acts among us. There are also a couple of very exciting projects that we can’t wait to share with you in the near future <3

Our hope is that HTTP continue be a place to seek inspiration and vitality. May this growth be one that is collective. May we continue to grow, to build, to nurture, to discover, to find each other, together.

你有没有想过？为什么我们吃到的每一个娃娃头雪糕，都有不同的表情？

LOVE BANG这次将带你一起深入传说中神秘的娃娃头消费主义神教内部，并带上了几位洗脑制作人和DJ一起上路，和我们一起加入这场探索之旅吧！

这次LOVE BANG邀请到来自南京、现居深圳的电子音乐人3ASiC，他在中国和荷兰先后攻读了录音艺术和声音设计专业，他同时还是一位从小学就开始写代码的技术宅，想知道响度为负数的歌听起来是什么样的，那你周六得来听听。

当然，ta们还邀请了老朋友MMQ, D A N D I，Heatwolves, 以及新朋友ILLTNa加入娃娃头夜晚。

Many centuries ago, while searching for gold in a cave in the North Pole, some rich humans discovered the god “Wa” - a giant Wawatou ice cream bar that looks like a face (you know, that one).   

The god Wa said to them, “Little humans, you have finally found me - the Great Wa. You may ask me one question and I shall tell you no lies!” 

The rich people thought hard about a question.   

“Great Wa, we own land, we have gold, and we have many slaves - but we still feel…. I dunno, we just feel depressed sometimes. How can we stay happy?” 

"Good question!" thundered Wa. 

The ice cream bar god, whose expression had not changed, then revealed the key to eternal happiness. 

“First, you must make little ice cream bars that look like me, and pray to me every day.” 

“Then, just follow this simple formula, called The Secret of Wa: If you’re already feeling happy, buy a small gift for yourself to continue feeling happy! If you’re feeling sad, buy yourself a BIG gift, like some land or a small country. And for extra happiness, make sure to buy with borrowed money!” 

Wa continued, "Of course, this happiness is short-lived – just like an ice cream bar. You must keep spending money to maintain your happiness. And you must be very careful – if you suddenly stop spending money, you will be very unhappy. Your friends will suspect that you have fallen into poverty, and they will stop associating with you. You will feel even sadder!" 

The rich people tried to keep The Secret of Wa a secret, but their servants soon found out, and rumors of the god Wa and the key to happiness spread all around the world, from the east to the west, and then from the west to the east, from generation to generation, and so on and so forth. 

Like many stories, the original details were lost in the cream. Newer generations don't even know about Wa, but they knew the ice cream god's secret to maintaining happiness inside and out. 

Nowadays, people don’t need to think about ice cream bars or go to the north pole for answers - Wa lives on in the AI of our shopping platforms! It is very convenient. 

You are hereby invited to a secret party to learn more about the The Secret of Wa and the keys to happiness. A special ceremony!

上海酷儿影展是成立于2016年的酷儿电影平台，旨在以多元视角的影像艺术结合形式丰富的线下活动，与观众共同探索广阔多元的酷儿文化。

Founded in 2016, SHQFF is a platform for queer cinema, screening some of the best films from around the world to explore diverse meanings of love and queer culture.

2020年末，我们宣布以“爱无边界”为当届上海酷儿影展年度主题，并在一个阳光明媚的周末展映了23部短片单元入围作品。在此再次感谢所有前来观影的大家！

时间来到2021年，“爱无边界”的故事仍在继续。

在春末夏初的5月，我们同样选择了一个美好的周末与大家一同开心看片，届时欢迎新老朋友前来观影。

At the end of 2020, we announced “Boundless Love” as the theme for this year’s SHQFF and kicked off the festival on a sunny weekend by showing 23 selected short films. 

Thanks again to everyone who made it out earlier! Now that 2021 is here, stories about “Boundless Love”are set to continue. Summer is on its way, and we’ve chosen a lovely weekend in May to watch the screening. We’re looking forward to welcoming friends, both new and old, to come watch films together.
