China’s cyber security is under threat. A recent investigation’s found that the National Security Agency under the U.S. Defense Department was involved in the hacking of the email system of China’s Northwest Polytechnical University. Why was the university targeted? How vulnerable is China’s cyber security when faced with the world’s hacking empire? Who would have the upper hand if a cyber war breaks out between the two powers?
Joining host Tu Yun are Jiang Tianjiao, Associate Professor, Development Institute, Fudan University, Andy Mok, Senior Research Fellow at the Center for China and Globalization, and Josef Mahoney, Professor of Politics and International Relations of East China Normal University on this episode of Chat Lounge.
