Declaring the games closed, Leonz Eder, acting president of the International University Sports Federation, said the event has made the dreams of student-athletes come true whether they have won medals or not, because their experience in the city has been gold medal standard.

国际大学生体育联合会代理主席雷诺·艾德宣布大运会闭幕，他表示无论学生运动员是否获得奖牌，此次大运会都让他们梦想成真，因为他们在这座城市的经历已堪称金牌标准。

The closing ceremony was held at the Chengdu Open Air Music Park. It was the first time in the world that the closing ceremony of a large international sporting event has been held in a park, according to the organizers of the games.

闭幕式在成都露天音乐公园举行。据组织方介绍，这是世界大型体育赛事闭幕式首次在公园举行。

As of 4 p.m., 24 people have been injured in the 5.5-magnitude earthquake that struck the county of Pingyuan in Dezhou City of east China's Shandong Province earlier Sunday.

8月6日凌晨，中国山东省德州市平原县发生5.5级地震，截至下午4时，已有24人受伤。

Local authorities said 213 buildings and walls in the earthquake zone were damaged, while transportation, communication, and power supply remain normal.

当地政府部门表示，震区有213处房屋及墙体受损，但交通、通讯和电力供应正常。

Over half of the injured in the county have been discharged from the hospital, while the on-site rescue forces have partly withdrawn from the quake zone. 

目前，平原县超半数伤者已出院，部分现场救援力量陆续撤离震区。

China's national observatory on Thursday continued to issue a blue alert for Typhoon Khanun, the sixth typhoon of this year, which is expected to bring gales and heavy rain to the country's northern and northeastern provinces.

中央气象台8月10日继续发布台风蓝色预警：受今年第6号台风“卡努”影响，我国北部和东北部分地区有大到暴雨，局地有大暴雨。

Typhoon Khanun is moving northwestward at a speed ranging from 20 to 25 km per hour and is expected to make landfall on the southern coast of the Republic of Korea, according to the National Meteorological Center (NMC).

中央气象台预计，“卡努”将以每小时20-25公里的速度向北偏西方向移动，即将在韩国南部沿海登陆。

Heavy rains will lash parts of northeast China from Thursday morning to Friday morning due to the typhoon. Some areas would likely experience rainstorms, the NMC said.

受其影响，10日上午至11日上午，东北部分地区有大到暴雨，局地有大暴雨。

During the period, strong winds are expected in some areas of the Bohai Sea, the Yellow Sea and the East Sea, as well as coastal waters off the Liaodong Peninsula.

10日上午至11日上午，渤海东部、黄海大部海域、东海东北部海域有大风，辽东半岛沿岸也有大风。

The center urged local authorities to prepare for typhoon emergency response and remain on high alert for possible floods and geological disasters.

气象部门提醒，政府及相关部门要按照职责做好防台风抢险应急工作。相关地区应当注意防范强降水可能引发的山洪、地质灾害。

South Korean police said Monday they have tracked down 59 people in connection with online murder threat posts across the country amid concerns of copycat crimes following a recent stabbing rampage at a department store south of Seoul.

韩国警察厅当地时间8月7日通报，近日首尔市南部一家购物中心发生无差别行凶事件，引发公众对于模仿犯罪的恐慌。截至通报当天，警方在全国范围内共逮捕59名“杀人预告”相关发帖人。

Among those arrested was a 14-year-old boy in the Seoul suburb of Hanam, the police said in a statement on Saturday. He told the police that he had no intention of killing anyone but “was just bored and posted it as a joke,” according to the statement.

据警方5日声明，被捕者中有一名来自首尔江南区的14岁男孩。被抓捕后，男孩告诉警察他无意杀人，“只是无聊，把它当作笑话发布了”。

Gmarket, an e-commerce platform, saw sales of self-defense products increase 243 percent between July 22, the day after the Sillim Station attack, and last Thursday, compared to the same period a year ago.
